The weeds invaded my garden over the last month or so of the season. I'm not sure of the best way to get rid of them. Dh mentioned getting a tiller but I'm not sure how that would work inside my frames.
*My tomatoes were great until the vines started dying. Blight? I've only had one big tomato garden before and it was carefree and produced till frost. I was disappointed that my vines died out so early this year, I was hoping for months more...
*Should I worry about planting in the same soil? The tomato garden that did well was a mix of early girl, better boy, and beefsteak. I tried several heirloom varieties this year, I wonder if I should stick to disease resistant varieties?
*The bugs took over my squash and I had to pull them up. I'm not sure if I'm going to try again. You always hear stories of people having way too many zucchinis, what's the secret?
I would like to plant an early spring garden with greens so I need to get busy. I heard chard was easier than spinach, so I'm considering, chard, cabbage, not sure what else.
Any advice appreciated!
